Personalisation has the ability to instil association and value within new clothing. Personalised imagery has been added to this garment using the Intarsia technique and coloured cottons inspired by florals found in customers heirlooms. Elbows have been identified as areas that are susceptible to wear. A pocket has been added to act as reinforcement in these areas as well as giving a detail that hides part of the floral remaining private and personal to the wearer.

The rib detail that is found on the pocket is then featured on the V shape neck line with overlapping rib detail.

This design won First Prize in the Bradford Textile Society Design Competition. It also won the Gold Award for Fashion and Textiles by the Creative Conscience awards.​​
